Our Brookfield Properties’ CNWS Project Team is excited to welcome July and share updates from June! Over the past month, our team engaged with residents and stakeholders by participating in local events and hosting a community open house to gather feedback on the CNWS project. We also provided a quarterly update on project progress and recent engagement to the Concord City Council.
In Case You Missed It!
June 15 CNWS Community Open House:
On Saturday, June 15, 2024, our team kicked off the first CNWS open house at the Concord Senior Center. We thank everyone who attended and provided feedback that is essential to the project’s success. During the event, we asked participants to rank project topics and provide feedback on their vision for future Concord communities through interactive stations. Attendees shared that their top ranked project topics include parks and open space, traffic and site connectivity, development phases of the project and affordable housing. This valuable feedback helps our team be responsive by sharing project information the community is most interested in learning about!
Couldn’t attend the open house? No problem! We will be hosting additional opportunities this year for you to engage with our Project Team and provide feedback and ask questions about the project – look for details on our Project Webpage and Eblasts.

June 25 Brookfield CNWS Project Update to Concord City Council:
On Tuesday, June 25, Brookfield Properties presented a project update to the Concord City Council during a public session. This was part of our commitment to providing quarterly project updates to the project’s Local Reuse Authority (Concord City Council) and the Concord community.
